When the orange trees bloom in the Eco-Farm "Ecovinyassa", orange blossom is picked by hand and carefully dried under the sun. The orange blossom is very appreciated in the culinary field and in the therapeutic field. It has a calming effect on the nervous system and promotes restful sleep. It is mainly used as an infusion, adding a little cinnamon or honey. It is a very aromatic and pleasant drink. It can also be used to make or enhance any dessert; pudding, yogurt or pastries and cakes. It can also be used as a refreshing facial moisturizer. Its preparation is simple: 50g dried orange blossom diluted in ½ liter of distilled water. This mixture is left to stand for 24 hours in a closed container placed in a cool and dark place. Then, strain the mixture through a fine sieve and let stand again for an hour. Later, put it in a dark bottle and store in the fridge.
