Only a small amount of olive oil is being produced from the olives of Finca Son Brando, which is located at the bottom of the Tramuntana mountains. In Mallorca the olive groves are called "olivar". This limited olive oil is made by one single variety of olives, named "Empeltre".
Every year in November, the ripe fruits are harvested and then the olive oil S'Olivar de Valldemossa is carefully processed, cold pressed by mechanical means only.
Virgen extra olive oil - superior category olive oil obtained directly from
olives and solely by mechanical means.
