In May, Mallorca smells of aromatic herbs. Now begins the time of harvesting and processing the herbs for the most typical of all liqueurs of the island - "Herbes mesclades", the semi-sweet herbal liqueur. Originally, the anise liqueur macerated with various medicinal herbs was already produced in the 16th century by the pharmacists of Mallorca as a healing drink. On the "fincas" it became a tradition to prepare this drink as a home distillate. The distillery "Dos Perellons" still has those old recipes and production methods.

As an aperitif or after dinner - even just with ice.

Fennel, verbena, rosmary, mint, majoram, chamomile, lime-tree blossom and lemon balm. 50% Anisette and 50% schnapps (cazalla).
